Our family gathers to hear the tales from the world traveler. The traveler bestows gifts-tea for mum, coffee for brother, a book for father, a picture for sister, and a box of sticky frogs for Joseph. Yes, sticky frogs-frogs made of some mysterious plastic substance that will stick to walls and ceilings. Joseph throws the toy frog on the ceiling and watches in great delight as it goes splat.
Amber, our world traveler, has returned from a month of exploring the continent of Europe. During her stay, she visited with “cousin” Tim in Ireland. Cousin Tim graciously hosted Amber and her friend, Lois, and took them to the island once owned by pirates. Pirates, named O’Driscolls, who are part of Amber’s family tree. While Amber shares about the family lore, Joseph tosses the sticky frog onto his sister’s leg. The frog flies across the room between siblings as Amber continues her discourse about the pirates. Such are the shenanigans of the Kramer Clan.

Father God,
Thank you for laughter. Thank you for joy. Thank you for my family and the many happy memories we have together. Help me remember the joyful times when I am struggling.
