“Healing is not a destination-it is a relationship”
Jess Aparicio
At our therapy session, we do a role-play where I practice saying “No!”
At church, Pastor Duane shares on the importance on teaching our children when to say “No.” He also discusses the topic of having a voice, which was another issue we talked about in therapy.
I lean over to Sean and say, “Ironic.”
Sean replies, “Supernatural!”
This pattern of repetition between our therapy sessions and the Sunday sermons has happened numerous times. God’s fingerprints are all over our healing story. God is answering our prayers!
Sean and I want to thank each of you who is supporting us with your prayers. You are a big part of our healing journey!

Scripture
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Ephesians 2:10 NIV
Pastor Keith explained that the meaning of the word handiwork or workmanship means poem, masterpiece, artwork, or symphony. God takes the chaos of our lives and turns it into a beautiful symphony.
“Your life will become a song”
Pastor Keith Maxcy
Shout out to our brothers-in-Christ who are part of the U-turn ministry. Thank you for praying for our family . You are such a blessing! It is a privilege for Sean and me to spend time in prayer with you on Sundays and be part of your healing journey. Your perseverance and humility are an encouragement to us.
