Photo Album

Inside the box I found a treasure-photos of my early life.

Few pictures of my early life remain-my life before the abduction. So too, few are my memories of those years with my family before my mother became mentally unstable.

A box of pictures was given to me from my aunt. Inside the box I found a treasure-photos of my early life. Some are from when our family lived on the houseboat by CBN in Portsmouth, VA; others are from our home in the woods near Pat Robinson’s house. During those days, my father, Ken, was the caretaker of the property.

As I work through the trauma of my past, I am comforted by these photos that remind me of times of joy.

The goal of trauma therapy is to release suppressed and repressed emotions, and through your prayers, God is helping me to accomplish that goal. Thank you to all of our prayer warriors who faithfully pray for our family during this time of healing. Also praise God for counselors and therapists who are trained to help people like me heal from trauma.

One of the main tools God has used to bring healing to my soul is through music. Here is a song I wrote about my life to the tune of I Dreamed a Dream from Les Miserables.

Shout out to my big brother Ed. Thank you so much for organizing our family picnic. It was wonderful to see you and all the family again!
